EXHIBITION YEAR.

Before our first official season, we had an exhibition year that laid the foundation for everything to come. It was all about culture-building, hard work, and forming deep connections.

Laying the Groundwork

  • We practiced, lifted, and conditioned with no games on the schedule—just the shared vision of what we were building

  • Every rep mattered, even without the spotlight

  • We focused on fundamentals, communication, and setting the tone for future seasons

Forming Bonds

  • Without the pressure of games, we had time to really grow as a team

  • We spent hours together on and off the field—getting stronger, closer, and more aligned

  • That year created the chemistry and trust that still fuels us today

First Ever Scrimmage

  • We played our first-ever team scrimmage that fall—it wasn’t official, but it was emotional

  • Stepping on the field in a USF jersey for the first time meant everything

  • It reminded us that all the work we were doing had purpose

Why It Mattered

  • That year taught us patience, resilience, and what it means to be part of something bigger

  • We weren’t chasing wins—we were building a program, a legacy, and a sisterhood

It may not show up in the record books, but our exhibition year was one of the most important seasons of all. It shaped who we are as teammates, competitors, and women.
