And my room is setup
This summer, I moved from The Retreat — an apartment complex next to USF — into what used to be the baseball house and is now officially the lacrosse house. On August 1st, myself and five of my teammates took over the lease. This past Sunday, I returned to Tampa, and over the next few days I spent time setting up and organizing my room.
For me to function and perform at my best, having a clean and organized space is non-negotiable. It’s not just about neatness — it’s about creating an environment that fuels my well-being. When my room is in order, my mind is in order.
The best part? I get to live in a home with my teammates — a place built for more bonding, more connection, and more moments together off the field. That’s powerful, because team culture isn’t just created during practice. It happens in the little moments: dinners together, late-night talks, and just living life side by side.
And yes — I’m beyond excited to be back in my super comfy king-sized bed that I’ve missed all summer.
So here I am: room set up, space dialed in, and ready to tackle the year ahead. Clean space. Clear mind. Big goals.
OWN your space. Be present NOW. And remember, you’ve already WON by setting yourself up to thrive.
