So Beyond Excited ❤️

This weekend is extra special ❤️

My Papa is coming up from Jacksonville to New Jersey for my last Fall Ball tournament against Stony Brook and Rutgers! 🥍 He’s 85 and doesn’t fly, so my dad is driving up with him so he can see me play — and also surprise his sister for her birthday dinner, who turns 87 on October 31 (hopefully she doesn’t see this before then 😅).

For as long as I can remember, my Papa has been one of the most important people in my life. Having him there in the stands means the world to me. I’m beyond blessed to still have both of my grandmothers, my Papa, and Tommy — my grandmother’s husband who’s my other grandfather.

If you’re as lucky as I am, take time to reach out to your grandparents. Call them, visit them, ask them about their stories. Tell them how much they mean to you. They won’t be here forever — and the memories you make now will stay with you for a lifetime. 💛

We’re 9–0 heading into this weekend, and after I score my first goal against Rutgers, I’ll look up into the stands and point at my Papa — because like he’s been my whole life, he’ll be there cheering me on.
